Located at the southern end of Beach Road in Patong, Molly Malones is most famous for its large sized portions and the 100 baht Chang pint. There is also free WiFi and a live band on every night.

Mollies is a great place to get away from all the beach bustle during the day.Their food is good with big portions so arrive hungry.There are many large screen TV for watching sports and it is air conned to get out of the heat.At night the place gets very busy.The live band keeps everyone bouncing and have a good bit of fun with the customers.Although some of their imported Draught beers are a bit expensive the local brews are on par with anywhere else.
I usually hate the plastic-bars like this ‘Irish Bar’, but the atmosphere is generally good at night, when the band is playing. So much so that it can be very difficult to get standing room, let alone a seat, during busy nights in high season.
Food is good too, although expensive compared to other establishments away from the Beach area. As mentioned by another reviewer, the happy hour is popular with its Chang offer, and the Guinness is good too.
If you want a night away (a maybe a couple of hours) from the other bars around Patong. Than this bar does offer a different nights entertainment at an increased cost.
Home of the 100 Baht Chang Pints. Molly Malones is a nice Irish Pub with huge portions of pub grub and lots of cold beers on Tap (Singha, Chang, Heineken, Tiger, Guinness)
Live Band is also good. The place gets crowded during dinner time onwards, so get in early to get a good seat.
The staff are friendly and are now my good friends.
